I am a little confused about how to mount the lower level shelf when there are two levels. It appears that there is some kind of connector used below the first shelf in the picture with the fridge. I must be missing something because I couldn’t find in the instructions where this is described. This design looks really great but I would like to understand this part before I buy materials and start. Thanks.
Tom, There is a nut and fender washer tightened above and below each shelf at every threaded rod, including the lower shelf.
Isn’t Tom asking about the rod coupling nut that I think I see between the two threaded rods?
I’m not sure which comment by Tom you are referring to Edward, but I do remember using a coupling nut to join two pieces of threaded rod where they wanted a low hanging shelf to use as a workbench, where a single length of rod was not long enough.
